Beginning with October's season premiere, ITL celebrates ten years of serving the gay and lesbian community and making a visible difference on national public television with series host Katherine Linton. A Lush Life features musical genius Billy Strayhorn who is among the greatest of American composers. Marga Gomez appears in the debut of Out Takes, a new segment of humorous celebrity social commentary. Author Edmund white is interviewed in Artist and AIDS about his editorial contribution on LOSS WITHIN LOSS: Artists in the Age of AIDS. In the Life airs on 130 public stations nationwide and in Canada.
