New Hampshire will not repeal Marriage Equality this year

New Hampshire House Republican Leader D.J. Bettencourt told The Associated Press that GOP controlled house will not repeal New Hampshires Marriage Equality law in 2011. Republicans took control of the NH House in the last election, and the LGBTQ community feared that repeal would be at the top of their agenda. Republicans say they will prioritize job creation and the economy, and that other issues will have to “take a back seat.”
